King penguin colony at Salisbury Plain.

Salisbury Plain at South Georgia Island is a breeding site of over 200,000 king penguins (Aptenodytes patagonicus).

This rookery is one one the largest at South Georgia Island and the surrounding scenery is outstanding. Be sure to include this site on your next journey to this part of the world.
